  • In-game effects and achievements (DLC versions of these modes removes the in-game effects of them)

To be clear: The Visual Novel Girlworm functionality is available in the base game as an unlockable component.

This DLC allows the player to skip directly to having the Visual Novel Girlworm but in a special mode that disables the rest of the game, effectively making it just a Visual Novel Girlworm and nothing else (you can switch this on/off in the options menu at any time).

This is for Visual Novel lovers who just want an on-screen girlworm to intermittently talk to with no other gameplay to worry about.
