What the developers have to say:

Why Early Access?

“Psyhonds is a game about psychology, choices, and consequences.
Many mechanics (tests, endings, and character behavior) directly depend on the players' reactions.

We are releasing the game in Early Access to:

improve the balance of the survival systems
expand the number of story options
add more endings
improve the atmosphere and depth of the characters based on real feedback

Each update will be based on community feedback.”

“Until the end of April 2026”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

- new interactions
- more variability
- a new alternative ending
- additional interactive elements

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“No”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“We plan to take player feedback into account during the development of the game in Early Access. Players will be able to share their feedback, suggestions, and bug reports through Steam discussions.

We will regularly monitor feedback and publish news about development and updates. Player feedback will help us improve the game's balance, fix issues, and prioritize future updates.

During Early Access, we plan to gradually expand the game by adding new content and improvements based on the feedback we receive from the community.”

About This Game

ATTENTION: All Steam users (except pregnant women and persons with disabilities) are subject to mandatory referral to the psychiatric ward! Please remain calm. A group of psychos who escaped the asylum has created a survival simulator in a mental institution, which will effectively prepare you for forced treatment.

ABOUT THE GAME

Your Personal Survival Team

Our four heroes didn't want to end up in a psych ward either, but what's done is done. Now your task is to monitor their status, preventing them from completely losing their minds or starving to death. But it's not that simple: each one has their own distinct mental disorder.

Meet the team: Victor, the depressive; Peper, the sociopath; Luca, the schizophrenic; and Damian, with identity disorder.

Hack. Craft. Explore. Survive.

Think a psych ward is boring with nothing to do? Think again!

Rummage through dumpsters, find junk to craft a shiv, and go raise hell in the corridors! Want to be a model patient conformist? Your ward is full of all sorts of characters.

Interact with them, help them out, and boost your reputation; fix the local TV; join a cult; use hospital food as cockroach bait; help the local bum retrieve his sentimental watch, and he'll tell you how to trade an empty pill blister for medical alcohol ; craft a lockpick and break into the psychiatrist's office to uncover the secrets he's hiding.

A long, quiet life in the ward, or a glorious rebellion?

You keep hearing your wardmates whisper about a psycho who's gathering allies for a grand riot. Just now, intel came in that another patient is planning an escape, while the psychiatrist has a few urgent tasks for you. So, what will you choose? What goal will you set, and what path will you take?

Psych Ward. Psych Ward never changes.

The diagnoses, the orderlies, the color of the corridor walls - they all shift. But the core remains: the perpetual struggle against yourself and your wardmate, the search for meaning in the psychiatrist's meaningless tests, and the eternal question - who here is truly insane? Some lose their minds, others just pretend to be sane, but the rules of the game stay the same. Your move, player…
