Why Early Access?

“Early Access allows me to gather real player feedback while I continue improving the game’s balance, content, and overall experience.
As a solo developer, community input is extremely valuable to identify issues, polish gameplay, and make sure the final version of Eclipse Protocol 2130 is as fun and solid as possible.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I expect the game to remain in Early Access for roughty 4 months.
This may change depending on player feedback and the amount of content I am able to develop, but the goal is to reach a polished and complete version once the core experience is fully refined.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“The full version is planned to include more content, improved balance, additional enemies, new weapons, and expanded gameplay features.
I also plan to refine the progression system, improve performance, and add quality-of-life updates based on community feedback.
The final goal is to deliver a more complete and polished experience while keeping the core gameplay fast, fun, and replayable.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version includes the core gameplay loop: fast-paced arena combat, multiple weapons, abilities, enemy waves, roguelite progression, and a Blackjack-inspired minigame for power cards.
The game is stable and fully playable, but still requires more content, balancing, and polish to reach its final vision.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“I do not plan to change the price during Early Access.
However, the price may increase once the full version is released, depending on the amount of new content and improvements added to the game.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I plan to involve the community by gathering feedback through Steam discussions, in-game suggestions, and regular updates.
Player opinions will help guide balancing, bug fixing, and the addition of new content.
As a solo developer, community input is extremely valuable to shape the final vision of the game.”

Each run is different, offering new builds, challenges, and ways to push your limits inside the Eclipse Protocol.
