왜 앞서 해보기를 진행하나요?

“We are a small team and want to make this game with and for the community. That's you!
For this, we want to include you as early as possible in the process for which Early Access is ideal. We'll try to go into it with a functional but scope-limited game, late enough you a can actually play it without being stumped by bugs all the time, but early enough we can still make decisions based on your feedback.”

얼마나 오래 앞서 해보기를 진행할 계획인가요?

“Hard to say at this stage (we'll update this as Early Access date comes closer), it will depend on the feedback we receive from you and how long we think it will take to scale the content to a full game, our current estimate is roughly 12 months.”

정식 버전은 앞서 해보기 버전과 어떻게 달라지나요?

“Largely in terms of amount of content / scale. In Early Access you should be able to play the story up to a point. That should include 95% of the game mechanics (piloting, trading, missions, etc...).
We plan that the full release should expand the content a lot in the sense that it should give you more systems to explore, more characters to interact with and complete the story with side tracks and perhaps add some missing game mechanics.”

앞서 해보기 버전은 현재 어떤 상태인가요?

“Right now we're just starting out. Once we launch Early Access, we aim to to have about one hour of gameplay with 95% of the game mechanics (piloting, trading, missions, etc...).”

앞서 해보기 기간 전후로 게임 가격이 달라지나요?

“Again, a bit early to say at this stage but we'll likely raise the price a bit in steps as we add more content so there is a relationship between what you get and what you pay for. That implies of course, that Early Access buyers will have an advantage which we consider fair as they help us a lot in actually making a good game.”

Command the Fairywren, a ship of human smugglers in the outskirts of the alien Commonwealth. Out here in "the Zone", every faction has an agenda, every favor has a price tag and trust is just another currency. Your crew? Talented, cynical and one bad job away from quitting. Or dying. Probably both.

Explore and Decide

Slip through jump gates and pick your own path across an open, shifting universe. Chart routes that no one else dares to fly. Mark rich asteroid fields before someone else claims them. Move goods the honest way or take the profitable route and pray the patrols aren't scanning today. Commonwealth officials, miners, syndicate fixers and pirates all insist they're the ones keeping order. Decide who you believe and who you undermine.

Pilot, Scan, Hide, Distract

When you're carrying something that shouldn't be found, every movement matters. Active scans reveal threats but light you up like a beacon. Hiding in asteroids or cutting engines buys silence, not control. Drop a decoy buoy at the perfect moment to throw hunters off your trail. And when everything goes wrong, commit to the Fairywren's signature moves: A risky dash forward or a crazy 180 to turn the chase into a gamble.

Be a Rascal

Patrols don't just blast you out of the sky. When you get caught use the unique talents of your crew to convince the official to let you go this one time. Distract them from the cargo search, hack their database, charm or bribe your way out. If you get really lucky, the friendly officer might greenlight you for the whole sector.

Develop Ship and Crew

Optimize your cargo hold for space, special goods and hiding away the more questionable items. Invest in technologies to make your ship faster, easier to control and harder to catch. And last but not least: Develop the skills of your crew to talk themselves out of dangerous situations and eventually become somewhat of a team.
