Miksi Early Access?

Early Access lets us open the base early, hear your thoughts while we fine tune the game, and make sure it grows into something we can all be proud of.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

We’re planning for Mars Base Alley to be in Early Access for roughly 3 months. If your feedback shows we need more time to add features, refine balance, or polish the experience, then we’ll adjust our plans to make sure the game launches in the best possible way.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

The Early Access version will already include the core Mars Base Alley gameplay loop: the full campaign missions, all the buildings. However, there’s more we want to add before the full release!

We’re planning for:
- Creative/sandbox mode
- Steamworks support
- Achievements
- Full controller support
- Quality-of-life improvements based on your feedback

Our goal is to keep building on what’s there, so the full release feels richer and cozier.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

In the current Early Access version, players can experience the full campaign from start to finish, featuring 13 handcrafted levels designed to be completed over 2–4 hours. Each level challenges you to design and manage your own Martian alley using 13 different buildings, each with distinct upgrade paths that influence efficiency, settler happiness, and resource flow.

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features.

Miten yhteisö otetaan mukaan kehitysprosessiin?

Early Access is all about building Mars Base Alley together, and our Discord server will be the core of that process. It’s the easiest way to chat directly with the developing team, suggest or vote on ideas, and even get sneak peeks at upcoming features.

We’ll also keep an eye on the Steam forums. Your feedback will help us fine-tune everything and make sure the final game is the best game it can be!

Mars Base Alley is a cozy city-builder about creating the perfect little corner of humanity on the red planet.

After a bumpy landing on Mars, you arrive at a quiet crater with a simple request from Mayor Roark: help turn this empty stretch of dust into a place people can truly call home. Instead of one grand city plan, the Mayor invites a handful of designers to each build and care for their own alley, slowly shaping Mars Base City together.

Each alley grows at its own pace. You’ll place buildings, manage resources, keep settlers comfortable, and gently respond to Martian challenges like dust storms, power hiccups, and changing needs. There’s no rush—just thoughtful decisions, small optimizations, and watching your alley come to life.

As the colony fills with warmth and activity, your alley is quietly evaluated alongside the others. Happy settlers, smooth resource flow, and a well-designed space all matter. With care and creativity, you may earn Mayor Roark’s special recognition and be crowned Champion Designer of Mars Base Alley.
