Miksi Early Access?

Gridlings is launching in Early Access so we can gather player feedback while continuing active development. The current version is fully playable, but we believe community input will be valuable in refining balance, difficulty, usability, and overall game feel.

Early Access allows us to iterate more quickly, test new ideas with real players, and improve the game based on how people actually play it rather than assumptions made during solo development. Our goal is to use this period to make Gridlings the best version of itself before considering it complete.

We are committed to continued development and regular updates during Early Access.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

We don’t want to lock ourselves into a specific timeline. Development length will depend on player feedback, testing, and iteration. Our goal is to remain in Early Access only as long as it meaningfully improves the quality of the final game.

The Early Access version represents the core gameplay experience, but the full version is planned to be more complete and polished.

These plans may evolve as development continues and feedback is evaluated.

The current Early Access version includes all gameplay features described in the “About This Game” section above, including core combat mechanics, playable missions, and progression systems. Ongoing development will focus on additional content, balance, and polish.
