We invite you to descend into a pit of monsters and traps. Gain strength from coins and weapons from altars. Touch an orb. Then race to the surface before the lava gets you.

SAD GOD is a platformer-shooter-roguelike of moderate difficulty. Unlike almost every other roguelike it has been designed to procedurally generate finite enjoyment. The power of GOD is within your reach.

MODES

• Normal: Casual mode, allows you to keep trying a level when you die.

• Hardcore: Complete all 7 levels without dying.

• Plus Modes: Complete Normal and Hardcore to unlock these new difficulty modes where monsters have new abilities, harder level chunks are selected, cursed weapons become available, and bosses get angrier.

DEMO

• First 4 levels of Normal mode only.

ESOTERIA

• 7 bosses, a dozen monsters, and many traps to discover.

• Over 50 different weapons to arm yourself with.

• Secret fishing activity.

• Unofficial Co-op Mode (A second player can join as the main character's dog. By using another gamepad or with keys < > J L to move and K L ; [ ] to shoot. It costs one of player 1's hearts to join, in Normal mode player 2 can join for free when you have one heart remaining. Player 2 has one life and limited powers.)

• No "pick 1 of 3" menus.
