Miksi Early Access?

I really want to improve a few parts of the game but want to see feedback also.
i want to add more terrains and improve the way the units look and react.
The AI intelligence also needs a bit of work.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

I expect to be in early access for 3 to 6 months. This will at least get me to reach my current goals but if the feedback is something really cool I may end up extending this.

The full version is planned to include more maps, improved AI strategies and a more polished UI. I also hope to add more species and game modes based on player feedback during the Early Access period.

Right now, there is a nice little campaign game. There is also a lot of varied sized skirmish maps.

Yes, the price will increase when the game leaves Early Access to reflect the additional content and polish added during this period.

I will be actively communicating with players through my YouTube channel, where I post development updates and discuss feedback. I will also be monitoring the Steam Community Hub for bug reports and feature suggestions to prioritize my development roadmap.

About This Game

FlockingWars is a fast-paced real-time strategy game where you command armies of flocking creatures. Take control of birds, fish, mammals, and insects in short, intense battles for control of the map.

Key Features

- Campaign mode where you conquer a continent in turn-based strategic warfare.

- Eight playable species: Seagulls, Bison, Dolphins, Wolves, Bees, Hawks, Penguins, and Locusts.

- Thousands of units moving using flocking-style behaviour.

- Strategic gameplay with 32 nodes to control, terrain advantages, and structures such as Nests, Dens, and Hives.

- Large-scale battles handled smoothly

Species Guide

- Seagulls: Fast scouts that excel over water.

- Bison: Heavy frontline units with very high health.

- Dolphins: Dominant in water but unable to fight on land.

- Wolves: Strong in forests and reliable all-round fighters.

- Bees: Swarm units that rely on overwhelming numbers.

- Hawks: Elite predators that control the mountains.

- Penguins: Defensive specialists for frozen terrain.

- Locusts: Fast raiders that thrive in the desert.

Campaign Mode

Lead your chosen species to dominate an entire continent. Plan your moves on a strategic map of 21 territories, earn campaign points to improve defences and launch new attacks, and continue your invasion with automatically saved progress.

Controls

Mouse: Left-click and drag to select units, right-click and drag to move them.
