“We want to refine the specifications of the in-game programming language through user feedback and interaction.

Our ultimate goal is to build a system where players can share and play their created Danmaku with people around the world.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“Approximately 1 to 2 years.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to refine the in-game programming language specifications based on feedback. We also hope to increase the number of bosses and music tracks available for Danmaku creation. Additionally, we are planning to implement online functionality and aim to add a tutorial mode that allows beginners to learn step-by-step.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“Danmaku Creation: You can create Danmaku using over 30 different bullet types.

Cross-Compatibility: Created patterns are compatible with the mobile game "Touhou Madouroku".

Limitations:

Lasers are currently not implemented.

The boss and background music for the Danmaku cannot be changed yet.

Online features are not yet implemented.

In-game language documentation is currently text-only.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“We plan to gradually raise the price as we ship new content and features.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“You can send messages via the Steam Community Hub or directly from within the game. We highly value community feedback, and we plan to improve the content and in-game language specifications of "Touhou Creator" based on your input.”

Program Your Own Danmaku! Touhou Creator is a Danmaku programming game where you can create Touhou Spell Cards using a simple programming language.

Beginner-Friendly Educational Programming Language

In Touhou Creator, programming is done using an educational language called "MiniScript." Since specific functions for creating Danmaku are built-in, you can create impressive Spell Cards with just a few lines of code.

Test Your Code Instantly

Press the "Run" button to immediately test your Danmaku patterns. Use trial and error to refine your code and create your ideal Spell Card!

Link with "Touhou Madouroku"

The game is fully compatible with the mobile game "Touhou Madouroku." Danmaku patterns created in the mobile version can be played directly in Touhou Creator.

*Touhou Creator is a fan game based on the Touhou Project.
