Gravity Storm's soundtrack consists of ten tracks that are an exciting fusion of chiptune and progressive rock. It draws a substantial amount of inspiration from Dream Theater, Rush, Tim Follin, Jeroen Tel, and more in its creation.

The suite begins with the atmospheric introduction that sets the tone of the spaceship that floats about with no master. The five zone themes are each written in different moods, crafting the atmosphere of the spaceship as Gravity Storm fights his way through hordes of dangerous enemies. These are followed with the fast and exciting boss theme, culminating with the epic chorus in the confrontation with The Mother Computer."
