Special Request: Chapter 1 — The Invitation is the first chapter of a four-part psychological visual novel about power, reputation, and moral compromise.

Laura is a well-known public figure in her city — interviewed on local television, active in charity work, and widely respected. She tries to live responsibly, but when pressure builds, she sometimes makes impulsive decisions that others can exploit.

One such mistake begins at the Iron Bar.

Before long, Laura finds herself caught in a situation that someone else is determined to use against her.

The only person who offers help is BB, an influential associate of the mayor. He assures Laura that he can “take care of things,” as he has done for others before. As long as she remains under his protection, nothing will come to light.

His help feels reassuring.

But protection always comes with conditions.

Soon, anonymous warnings begin to reach her. The more Laura tries to understand what is happening around her, the more dangerous the situation appears.

Through BB’s connections, she is introduced to PAM, a new company that needs a trustworthy public face. What begins as a professional opportunity gradually pulls Laura deeper into a network of influence, loyalty, and expectation.

The more closely her public image becomes tied to the organisation, the harder it becomes to separate her reputation from its actions.

Meanwhile, pressure grows everywhere else.

At home, her marriage begins to crack under strain.
At work, small requests and quiet expectations slowly turn into obligations.
