Holo Picture Viewer transforms your photo collection into immersive 3D experiences that react naturally to your head movement in VR, creating a convincing sense of depth and presence.

Convert your existing 2D images into holographic 3D instantly using advanced depth estimation. Fine-tune depth and parallax in real time to achieve the perfect 3D look for every picture.

Everything runs locally on your PC — no cloud processing, no subscriptions, and no data collection. Your photos stay completely private.

For even richer depth, the app also includes tools to generate Gaussian Splats from a single image, allowing significantly more head movement than traditional depth-based conversion.

The built-in converter runs directly inside the app and requires an NVIDIA GPU with about 16 GB VRAM. The included standalone Web UI converter provides a more flexible option and works with 8 GB NVIDIA GPUs or even CPU-only systems, though processing may take longer (see Steam guide for how to use the Web UI).

The Web UI also features an experimental panorama mode that can turn 180° or 360° equirectangular photos (such as images from action cameras) into explorable Gaussian Splat scenes.

Holo Picture Viewer can additionally load and explore external Gaussian Splat scenes (.ply and .spz) with real-time rendering and VR navigation.
