BACKGROUND

During the Three Kingdoms period, Zhuge Liang created the Rokuyo and used it in military tactics and strategy.

On his campaigns, Zhuge Liang feared that the Rokuyo would have no successor. So he used a secret technique to split the Rokuyo into six stars (six special energy entities) and granted them mystical powers.

He gave four of them to the Jiang, Ma, Wei, and Zhang families. The remaining two stayed with him and his descendants to safeguard.

To make sure the Rokuyo Stars wouldn't fall into the wrong hands, Zhuge Liang set up an inheritance system: only those who carry the family bloodline AND pass the trials can inherit a Rokuyo Star.

Time flies, years pass in the blink of an eye. The inheritance of the Rokuyo Stars continues to this day.

But beneath the calm waters, dark currents are moving.

After thousands of years, outsiders have finally cracked the secret of the Rokuyo Stars.

The battle for the Rokuyo Stars has begun.

STORY

Zhu Yuxin, an "ordinary" student, lives a carefree life day by day.

Carving, fortune-telling, fooling around with friends—these make up his everyday routine.

One day, a transfer student arrives in his class.

She captures everyone's attention, including Zhu Yuxin's.

"This new girl... there's something about her..."

She greets everyone with a smile, no matter who they are.

But anemia, weakness, depleted vitality—these ailments seem to plague her constantly.

"There's something strange about her, something that draws me in... like a resonance?"

"Are you and I... the same kind of people?"

The living don masks and wield their scythes, vowing to offer blood as tribute to the spirits above.

This is her story.

And the beginning of ours.

GAMEPLAY and DEMO INTRODUCTION

This is a text-based adventure game.

You will play as Zhu Yuxin, influencing the plot by clicking on choices.

The fate of Zhu Yuxin and Jiang Lingli will be decided by you.

The current demo covers Part One, with Part Two to be released in future updates.

Part One features approximately 20,000 words of script.

Two endings serve as the branching point between Jiang Lingli's route and a potential future route for Liao Xinyi.
