It’s 1949. Hollywood’s Golden Age is at its peak. Corruption hangs over the city like smog. And disgraced detective Jack Baylor is reluctantly drawn into the case of a lifetime: tracking down budding movie starlet Ava Monroe.

The investigation will take him from murky jazz clubs to glamorous mansions, and from studio backlots to the back of beyond – dragging Jack through a who’s who of crooked politicians, dirty cops, and sleazy movie moguls.

As each new clue slots into place, you’ll cover the length and breadth of an urban jungle overflowing with interconnected locations – often with multiple choices on where to go next.

Each scene unlocks new characters to speak to, new puzzles to solve, and new perspectives on three key questions:
