This is the first hour or so of Unattached: City of Shadows, showing some of the features of the game as well as introducing its world through its first quest. The description of the main game is as follows:

You are James Arnold, a rookie detective assigned to investigate the assassination of New Eastbrook's mayor, Casey Ward, as well as the seemingly-connected deaths of police officers throughout the year of 2022. Every lead drags you deeper into a web of mob power, crooked cops, and corruption that will not yield. Savour a fully-voiced tumultuous detective story involving constant emotional, rarely clear-cut decisions.

• Search crime scenes for hidden evidence, from bloody weapons left behind to mobile phones of victims containing suspicious phone records.

• Piece together the evidence obtained to build an idea of what happened in each crime scene, the motives behind the crime, and who committed it.

• Customize your character, visit the various barbers and clothing shops to change your look.

• Buy houses across the city and customize their interior furniture to your liking.

• Tune your ride: paint jobs, seat colours, interiors, and tires; as well as a spoiler and a supercharger (which also tunes your car's engine).

• Invest in businesses that return a steady income to keep the lifestyle going.

• Delve into a large open world where you can also visit restaurants to refuel and pawn shops to sell whatever junk you collect along the way of your adventures.

• Participate in side activities such as backyard brawls.
