RESOBEAT is a PC (Steam) rhythm-action game. Hit notes flying to a central judgment line from all directions. It's simple to learn, but 20+ dynamic 'gimmicks' will rotate the screen, swap keys, and alter the playfield. Features a map editor for creating and sharing levels using your own MP3s.

Varför Early Access?

“We have been developing RESOBEAT since June 2025. Because the game has found its identity, we plan on showing this game to the public. We need sufficient feedback due to its unique system.”

Ungefär hur länge kommer det här spelet att vara i Early Access?

“We plan to release the official version in February 2026. ”

“We are planning to add more levels with music, with more gimmicks. The menus and UI/UXs will be more natural. There will be tutorials for each level.
Also, a map editor and a website for sharing the levels will be available when it is released.

In the current version, we would like to admit that the levels are extremely difficult to play. It is not your fault. We have no tutorials, and the levels are not well-designed. We ensure that this will be improved in the future.
The map editor is buggy, so please use it as a glance of future work.”

Welcome to RESOBEAT, a new dimension of rhythm that defies your predictions.

Beyond simply tapping to the beat, a new rhythm-action game that interacts with the entire space has arrived. The rule of RESOBEAT is simple: hit the notes traveling towards the central judgment line at the perfect timing. However, the stage you will face is anything but static.

KEY FEATURES

1. A Living, Breathing Stage: Over 20 Dynamic 'Gimmicks' The core of RESOBEAT is 'unpredictability.' As the music climaxes, the game field begins to test your senses.

  • Notes from Every Direction: Notes no longer just fall from top to bottom. They fly in from all directions—up, down, left, right, and diagonally—at varying speeds.

  • Spatial Distortion: You must find the rhythm amidst visual chaos as the entire field rotates , the note generators and the central judgment line swap places , the screen splits , or rotates on its axis.

  • Variable Key System: Just when you get comfortable with 4 keys , the flow of the song can instantly expand the layout to 8 keys or even more.

All these changes are driven by over 20 different 'gimmicks', which will present a new challenge even when you think you've perfectly memorized a map.

2. Challenge within Intuitiveness: Easy to Learn, Hard to Master RESOBEAT lowers the barrier to entry for 'light gamers' who may have hesitated after only watching videos. The direction a note comes from is intuitively linked to the key you need to press, making it easy for anyone to start.

However, the endless variables hidden within these simple rules and the challenging elements will constantly stimulate the competitive drive of skilled gamers aiming for a perfect, mistake-free clear.

3. Your Music Becomes the Game: Powerful UGC Support Have you ever wanted to play your favorite artist's song in a rhythm game, only to be disappointed by copyright issues? RESOBEAT turns your personal music library into the stage.

  • Your Own Map Editor: Using all the notes and dynamic 'gimmicks' the game provides , you can create one-of-a-kind maps based on your own MP3 files.

  • UGC Market & Community: Your finished maps can be shared with players worldwide through the 'UGC Market', integrated with the Steam Workshop. You can distribute your creative maps for free or sell them to generate revenue.
