Welcome to your inheritance, an isolated patch of deep woods left to you by your grandfather. You arrive to find a rundown cabin, a few flickering security cameras, and an old tape recorder. At first, his recorded voice sounds almost playful, reminiscing about "old stories" of men facing creatures in the forest after dark. But as the tape hisses to an end, one thing becomes clear:
He wasn’t telling stories.
He was leaving you instructions.

Your only goal now is to survive.

Monitor, Manage, and Feed
Hunker down in a cramped control room. Watch the cameras. Conserve power. And keep the things outside from getting too close.

Some stalk the tree line. Others appear without a sound. Each has its own habits… and its own hunger.

To pacify them, you’ll need to feed them what they crave—blood, meat, or hide—before their attention turns to you.

Look away for just a second, and the night could be your last.

Leave the Cabin or Die Inside It
The control room won’t save you forever. To make it through the week, you’ll have to step outside:

Keep your equipment running and your livestock alive—they’re the only thing standing between you and becoming the next meal.
