About This Demo

Warhounds Demo is a demo version of a turn-based tactical strategy game about a mercenary squad in an alternative future Africa.

Command your fighters, complete combat missions, manage your base, and get familiar with core and meta gameplay.

What’s included in the demo:

Story & Tutorial Missions:

• 2 tutorial missions to learn the basics, meet key characters, and step into the world of WARHOUNDS.

Combat Missions:

• 5 missions across different biomes: 1 mission in the Slums and 4 additional missions set in the City Center, Military Base, and Seaport

• Mission types: sector clearing and hostage rescue

Difficulty Options:

After completing the tutorial missions, you can choose how brutal the experience will be. 

Play on easy to learn the systems - or enable all modifiers for Ultra-Veteran difficulty. Enemies become more numerous, accurate, tougher, and smarter, and any operative who loses HP can die instantly.

Enemies & Factions:

• Tougher Da'amat terrorist classes

• New faction: high-tech corporation Tsai Shen

• 4 unique veteran operatives

• Unlimited recruitable rookies

Strategic Layer & Base Development:

• Fully playable WARHOUNDS ship-base

• Build key modules: Infirmary, Mess Hall, Training Ground, Workshop

• Send mercs on combat and covert missions

• Manage squad gear and equipment

Tactical Gear & Contracts:

• Smoke grenades, flashbangs, knives, pistols as secondary weapons, combat scanners, and more

• Medical drones: purchased via contracts, deployable on missions to heal allies and stun enemies

Free Play Mode:

• Strategic layer enabled

• 4 combat missions without the story campaign
