About This Game

An Occult-Horror Adventure Lurking Beyond the Case File

Resequence: The Orchard is a multi-perspective occult-horror adventure game about an otherworldly presence slowly eroding everyday life, featuring unsettling visuals by fracoco and a story by Re,AER.

Players would play the role of Kisuke Saito and uncover the students’ past by hearing their experiences. Reveal the truth of his wife’s missing and eventually bring out what lies beneath the record—what’s haunted “there”.

❖━━━━━━━━━━━❖

Feeling extremely hard to move on after his wife’s missing and drained of the will to live, Kisuke Saito—encouraged by his colleague Aislinn and a high school girl Kaneko Honda—accepted the job as a school counselor. But every student who comes to him is plagued by inexplicable phenomena…

❖━━━━━━━━━━━❖

◇◆Kisuke Saito

A psychiatrist still unable to move on from his wife’s disappearance ten years ago.

Introduced by Aislinn, he serves as her assistant in her work as a school counselor.

Despite being a counselor, he is aloof and cynical.

He may say he wants nothing to do with kids, but in the end, he can’t bring himself to leave them be.

◇◆Honda Kaneko

A languid high school girl who keeps coming up to Kisuke Saito.

For some reason, she had been in contact with him even before he came to her school as a counselor.

She rarely shows much emotion and can come across as cool or even expressionless, but beneath that exterior, she has a rich inner life very much in keeping with her age.

She also has a mischievous side, teasing the people she is close to just to enjoy their reactions, with Kisuke Saito being her favorite target.

◇◆Aislinn

Her full name is Aislinn Conlon.
A brilliant, otaku-minded psychiatrist and a colleague of Kisuke Saito’s.

She offers the unemployed Kisuke Saito a chance to help with the school counseling work she handles.

She has a fondness for Japanese culture in general, and somehow keeps picking up obscure Japanese vocabulary from who knows where.

Apparently, she’s really into sento these days.

◇◆Sogo Soyogi

A second-year student at the same high school as Kaneko.

Simple and unassuming, he can be surprisingly sharp-tongued at times.

He’s rather out of touch with the world and only got a smartphone quite recently, so people often joke that he’s a hermit.

He doesn’t open up to others easily, and he’s not particularly comfortable hanging out in large groups.

◇◆Hironobu Kido

A second-year student at the same high school as Kaneko, he is sociable and fine-featured.

But behind his affable charm lies a deep-seated cynicism, born from his looks and his upbringing.

He rarely allows himself to rely on anyone.

At the same time, he longs for genuine friendship and strong bonds of trust, and regards the honest Sogo Soyogi as his best friend.

◇◆Kaina Orihara

A third-year student at the same high school as Kaneko, he may look like a delinquent, but he’s actually a cheerful, kindhearted boy.

To younger students, he’s a fun-loving big-brother type, though he’s easy to talk to that they often treat him more like a peer than a senior.

He’s always hanging around the counseling room and tends to stick close to Kisuke, much to Kisuke’s annoyance, since he can be pretty loud.

◇◆Meguri Tsukumo

A second-year student at the same high school as Kaneko, she is genuine and energetic.

Behind her cute, mascot-like charm is a surprisingly clever and sharp side.

She’s very close to her family and often visits her grandmother in the hospital.

She gets along with everyone, but she’s been especially close to Kaneko since their first year.
