The world is full of strange monsters, called ponpai, living amongst humans. They can talk, love, have jobs, vote, and most importantly, they all enjoy a friendly fight! Gather up your closest ponpai friends and form a team to defeat other ponpai!

You play as Jasmine, a 26 year old human who hasn't left her apartment in five years. Her hobbies include sleeping and doomscrolling. When her new neighbour, Nico, forces her to go outside, she learns to make friends and live her life.

Jasmine isn't out to save the world on an epic quest. The game is split into many chapters, where she'll do things like stop a coffee conglomerate from taking over a local shop, or investigate rumours of a killer in the woods, or even just try to make it to a movie premiere before it starts! But through it all, she might end up saving the world anyway...

Battles take place across two "fields", yours and the opponents'. You each have three ponpai on the field at once, and each ponpai has three attacks they can do. Each attack covers a certain area of the field!

Of course, if your attack won't reach any opponents, you can move your ponpai around to MAKE it reach!

Wow!

Attacks can do more than basic damage, too! You can apply buffs or debuffs, heal, apply status effects, and even leave traps on the ground!

Your goal is to get the opposing team's collective HP to zero. Don't worry, though, this is all good fun for them, and they merely walk away a little tired from the fight! In fact, if you're lucky, they might ask to join your team afterwards!

And guess what? There's over 250 of them, and you can befriend them all!

Sex is occasionally mentioned. Sex scenes happen off-screen, and only if the player chooses to (it's never related to the main plot).

A potential genocide against the fictional ponpai creatures is brought up during the main plot, but is stopped before it can begin thanks to the player.

One character in the main plot is murdered in a non-gory fashion, which leads to grief for another character. The prior murder of an entire species is also mentioned. Some sidequests feature a murder mystery, though the victim becomes a ghost and continues "living" normally.
