About This Demo

Grid Forge TD is an incremental, tower defense game. Place tetrominoes to forge the enemy’s path and adapt to randomized lava tiles. How many runs will it take for you to beat all the bosses?

Forge the Path

Enemies don’t follow a preset route - you create it.

• Place tetromino pieces to build and extend the maze

• Work around randomly generated lava tiles that force new strategies every run

• Maximize path length in a limited grid space

• Adapt on the fly. Waves appear continuously with only a 10 second gap between them.

Every run is a new spatial puzzle.

Strategic Tower Defense

Stop enemies before they reach your base using three core tower types:

• Basic Tower – Reliable and efficient

• Sniper Tower – High damage, low fire rate

• Cannon Tower – Devastating area-of-effect damage

But placement is everything.

Socket elemental gems into tiles to empower towers with effects like:

• Lightning - chains damage to nearby enemies

• Cold - slows enemies down

The same tower behaves differently depending on the gem beneath it, creating powerful build combinations and synergies.

Hands-On Play

Your mouse isn’t just for building.

Click anywhere on the grid to deal AoE damage and turn the tide when things get overwhelming.

Meta Progression

Each run earns research points that let you buy permanent upgrades.

Unlock upgrades such as:

• Increased tower damage

• Faster tetromino generation

• More starting gold

• Unlock elemental effects

• Expanded build space

Demo Version

This demo includes the core gameplay loop of Grid Forge TD.

The full game will feature:

• Harder difficulty tiers

• Expanded meta-progression options
