About This Game

Rewoven Self is a dual-perspective narrative puzzle game that combines first-person interaction with 2.5D platform exploration.

Players traverse two intertwined dimensions — reality and fantasy — where tangible actions in the real world, such as folding, cutting, and stitching, indirectly influence the journey of a paper figure within the fantasy realm, gradually achieving emotional integration and self-growth.

The game unfolds across three chapters, each representing a stage of emotional transformation:

• Chapter I – “Escape into Fantasy”
  Build a fragile paper world through folding, expressing the protagonist’s desire to hide and depend on fantasy as a refuge from loneliness.

• Chapter II – “Reality Cages Cage”
  As fantasy collapses, the protagonist struggles between ideals and reality, sinking into emotional breakdown.

• Chapter III – “Fantasy & Reality Reweaving”
  Stitch the two worlds together — a symbol of rebirth after emotional repair.
  No longer escaping, the protagonist carries fantasy forward into a new life.

The game emphasizes non-combat puzzles and symbolic mechanics, blending side-scrolling exploration with first-person interaction to portray an emotional journey from escape → struggle → integration.

Developer’s Note

I wanted players to feel emotion through interaction — not just watch it.

Rewoven Self tells a story of a journey from fantasy to reality, from escape to integration.
“Folding” builds a fragile shelter of imagination,
“Cutting” represents collapse and release,
and “Stitching” reconnects both sides — forming a complete self.

For me, this game is more than a project;
it is a process of understanding, healing, and renewal.
