Why Early Access?

“I'm using Early Access to develop Theft Runner with help from the community. The core gameplay is in place, but I plan to expand it with new mechanics, new characters content, and improvements. Feedback from players will be valuable in shaping the final version of the game.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“I estimate that Theft Runner will remain in Early Access for roughly 6 to 12 months, depending on player feedback and development progress.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“I plan to add more gameplay mechanics typical of a core Endless Runner game, such as power-ups, traps, etc. I'm also working on increasing the variety of environments, improving the visuals and animations, and possibly introducing a Level progression system (like a harder level) with unlockable content and replaceable characters that can be unlocked with collected coins.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“The current version of Theft Runner follows an irritated burger vendor and the endless running of a mischievous little boy who escapes after stealing his burger. It's fully playable and includes basic endless running gameplay, high score tracking, counting the number of coins collected and the total number of collectible coins received, basic obstacle and character controls, and appropriate character sound effects. It offers a complete gameplay loop, but many features, new mechanics, new characters and visual improvements are still planned to future big changes updates.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“The price will increase after Early Access to reflect the additional content and improvements made during development.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“I plan to involve the community by gathering feedback through the Steam forums and social media. I'll be monitoring player suggestions and bug reports, and using that input to guide development priorities. I'll also share progress updates regularly.”
