Miksi Early Access?

Fuu is at an exciting stage of development. We want to bring the core mechanics and atmosphere of the game to players early on, so we can shape the final product based on community feedback. Developing the game alongside our players will ensure that Fuu delivers a much more balanced and enjoyable experience.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

We plan to keep Fuu in Early Access for approximately 3 to 6 months. This duration may vary slightly depending on the feedback we receive and the development speed of the new features we plan to add.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

The full version will offer significantly more content compared to the Early Access version. Our roadmap includes new and challenging levels, diversified game mechanics, and a deeper gameplay experience. Additionally, bugs identified during Early Access will be fixed, and performance optimizations will be completed.

The game is currently in a fully playable state, featuring the core gameplay loop and main mechanics. Players can experience the initial levels and get a solid feel for the world of Fuu. While the build is technically stable, some areas may still lack final polish as development is ongoing.

Yes, we plan to moderately increase the price as we transition to the full release and add new content such as levels and mechanics. Early Access supporters will have the advantage of purchasing the game at a lower price while contributing to its development.

Fuu is a high-octane 2D Platformer Runner experience set in a gothic world governed by shadows and forgotten secrets. The game rewards fast reflexes, flawless timing, and a heart that welcomes challenge.

Take control of Fuu, our mysterious character whose eyes glow with light, and try to survive this eerie, seemingly endless, and trap-filled forest.

Gameplay Mechanics and Content Details

The game moves beyond a traditional runner, demanding you fluidly combine a set of essential platforming moves.

Core Movement System: Progress relies on the expert use of fundamental platforming actions such as the double jump, wall jump, and the crucial, quick-reaction precise dash/slide. Every section is meticulously designed to be conquered through seamless combinations of these movements.
Reflex Testing and Difficulty: Each level is packed with suddenly appearing traps, dynamic moving platforms, and small gaps designed to push your reflexes to the limit. When you fail, you instantly restart, engaging in a trial-and-error loop until you achieve the perfect run.
Mysterious Puzzle Elements: Speed alone won't suffice. To advance, you must solve small, trigger-based puzzles interspersed between platforming sequences. These elements require logical thinking, such as pressing buttons in the correct sequence or using precise timing to bypass a specific obstacle.
Progression and Goal: Your primary objective is to complete all challenging regions of the gothic forest and uncover the secret behind the mysterious light spheres surrounding the character. Each new region introduces increasing difficulty and unique mechanics, appealing directly to adventurous players.
