Why Early Access?

“The scope of Eldoria is vast, and Early Access provides the perfect opportunity to refine and expand the world with help from player feedback. We intend to continue building upon Eldoria’s combat, exploration, and Light-based magic systems while introducing new regions, enemies, spells, and story content. As a small indie studio, having community input is invaluable for improving gameplay balance, quality, and overall immersion — especially as we continue expanding world systems and AI behaviors.”

Approximately how long will this game be in Early Access?

“At least one year. Depending on community engagement, feedback, and available resources, Early Access may extend longer to ensure the game reaches the level of polish and depth we envision for the alpha version of the game.”

How is the full version planned to differ from the Early Access version?

“We plan to have the full version of Eldoria feature a significantly expanded world and deeper systems, including:

- An open-world with 8 provinces and several dungeons to explore.
- Dozens of unique enemies, robust magic, melee and archery systems.
- The Redeeming and Presence State systems fully flushed out.
- Friendly NPCs, quests, and lore-rich side activities.
- Buy and sell items from merchants at shops across Eldoria.
- Trade Skills like Alchemy, Cooking, Crafting, Enchantment, Fishing, Mining, Smithing and Woodcutting that allow for different playing styles and to help support your journey.
- Enhanced AI behavior, world interactions, and combat responsiveness.
- Overall balance, performance improvements, and bug fixes.

We aim to put out regular updates introducing new content, features, and refinements to gameplay, visuals, and player progression.”

What is the current state of the Early Access version?

“We’re working toward having the Early Access version of Eldoria to include:

- The Lost Labyrinth dungeon fully flushed out with at least 5 floors with exploration, treasure, puzzles, traps and dynamic enemies.
- The Redeem system, allowing players to purify corrupted creatures instead of simply defeating them, allowing for potential rewards to power up your Light magic.
- The Presence State, revealing hidden rooms and loot in the world.
- Core magic, melee and archery combat types.
- Foundational spell progression and Light magic abilities.
- All 12 elements have weaknesses and strengths against other elements: Earth, Fire
Water, Air, Ice, Poison, Electric, Sound, Illusion, Cosmic, Light, Dark.
- Gamepad support (tested with Xbox controllers) and keyboard/mouse support.
- Save/load functionality and progression tracking.

While not feature-complete, we plan to have the Early Access version to offer a strong gameplay foundation that can grow over time with player feedback.”

Will the game be priced differently during and after Early Access?

“Yes. The price will likely increase once the full version releases, reflecting the added content and polish. However, the increase will be modest to reward early supporters.”

How are you planning on involving the Community in your development process?

“Community feedback can directly shape Eldoria’s development — especially in balancing combat, magic, and exploration systems. Players can share feedback and report bugs on the game’s Steam forums or message us directly on our Discord server. We aim to launch a play test version on Steam.
