About This Game

Critterking is a strategy roguelike mixed with RTS style combat where you, as the king, must defend your colony against an invasive species. Establish your settlement, rally your armies, and defend your claim as the Critterking!

Draw building and units during the day, to establish and develop your colony. Plan your kingdom carefully--buildings can buff and debuff your units or impede them entirely! Pay attention to your units too, your colony can only sustain so many.

During the night, invaders will approach your borders, maintain your kingdom and order your troops. Each unit has their own strengths and weaknesses, so strategize accordingly! Defend enough, and you'll be able to expand your colony, but doing so puts you at risk of further angering your enemies.

As your colony grows, improve your army! Send them on expeditions to gain permanent buffs, train them by merging cards, or order them in combat with special decrees. Upgrade wisely in order to prevail over your enemies and protect your title as Critterking!
