Miksi Early Access?

The community around Palmier Island has empowered the development process exponentially. The fans and comments on our social media, as well as through our closed beta program, have supercharged the team onto highlighting the most requested features and necessary additions to the game. We would love to have the fans follow along to provide their lasting input on the game.

This game will be in Early Access for approximately 3 months.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

The full version will contain the Early Access version (prologue) of the game, which highlights the core gameplay mechanic of Palmier Island, called Chattle. The plan for the full version is to build on the story started in the prologue, through more Chattles with increasing difficulty. As well, we plan to introduce a new core gameplay mechanic: running a cafe. This mechanic will introduce a new context-based way for players to learn French on Palmier Island.

The current Early Access version has been through extensive beta testing from fans and is now seamless. It contains three Chattles, the core gameplay mechanic, as well as a minigame.

No, the game will not be priced differently during and after Early Access.

Miten yhteisö otetaan mukaan kehitysprosessiin?

In order to collect feedback, we have a Discord server where fans can discuss the game and report bugs. We also run playtest sessions to collect detailed feedback from the fans.
