VERDURE is an odd generator of plants and trees! It is a creative sandbox where you can trim branches and experiment with growth controls.

There is no story or strict objective. VERDURE provides a space for open-ended plant design, whether shaping a small bonsai tree, letting maple branches sprawl freely, or exploring how different settings affect them.

Each plant is generated from a unique recipe that can be customized through more than 20 parameters, including trunk length, branch thickness, foliage density, and color palettes. You can:

  • Start from a random seed or design your own

  • Trim and prune branches, or let them grow naturally

  • Edit combinations of backgrounds, foregrounds, and pots in an instant to suit your composition

  • Adjust the overall growth speed and hide the interface for a more immersive experience

  • Maintain a collection of personal favorites across 50+ save slots, with indicative names like ‘Cactus,’ ‘Pine,’ or ‘Sakura’

The original soundtrack, decor elements and reactive sounds help establish the game’s surreal atmosphere. Each scene blends simple ASCII-inspired retro designs with modern effects to produce a dreamlike environment for your plants to grow. VERDURE does not aim for realistic plant behavior, but rather a stylized interpretation that emphasizes mood and expression.

VERDURE can be enjoyed equally in short, fidget-friendly sessions or over longer periods to gradually expand your collection and refine each plant’s design.
