About This Demo

Survivesmith is a reverse bullet-hell game with a simple crafting twist. Shoot hails of bullets, missiles, nails, lasers and whatever is at your disposal at your enemies and make tactical choices to overcome all obstacles. You are here to find the 'Life Essence', and you're not leaving without it!

Item Crafting

Every biome has a unique resource (or more) for you to collect. Collect them and craft handy consumable items from your Survival Kit to make surviving a little bit easier. But be warned—you’ll need plenty of resources if you hope to face the final boss!

Biome Hazards

Every biome has some kind of hazard to throw at you. Make sure you are ready for these random weather changes, unless... you find a way to turn the tides in your favor.

Preset Loadouts

In Survivesmith, you don't have to submit to the randomness of the upgrades you get. While there are many random elements to experience in the game, your loadout isn't one of them. Make sure you know what you're doing, and equip well before a round!

Power Cores (In development)

Fuse various core components dropped by enemies to create unique power cores with combined effects. One weapon, hundreds of combinations. Try them all!

Tactical Skills

Every survivor has multiple tactical skills, ultimate abilities and their primary weapons are all equipped with overcharge abilities. Use the ones that fit your playstyle and survive the oncoming robot hordes.

Level-Up Systems

Your character levels up in-run by collecting experience orbs. Choose from Strength, Vitality, Agility and several sub-categories in them to maximize your character's survivability. Perform well in-run to permanently level up your characters, weapons and armor modules to have a better chance at getting to that 'Life Essence'.

Helper Buddies

Bring up to 2 buddies to swap between in-run to aid you with tedious tasks like finding / collecting resources, to heal you or simply have extra fire-support! Level them up alongside you and maximize their effectiveness.

What to expect in the demo

While the full game will feature multiple levels with hundreds of crafting recipes, multiple characters, the complete operability of your base and its machines, and more, the demo is meant to showcase how the game works and if it's right for you.

In the demo, you'll get:

• One playable character with a few weapon and loadout options.

• One level that you can play till the end, as much as you want.

• A few crafting recipes per biome, and a few mini-bosses and events.

• Limited access to functionality of the base.

• A level difficulty slider to try the same level with a completely different experience.

Note that the demo will not include any achievements or unlockables since you will be given some unlockable equipment and upgraded weapons from the start. This is done with the intention to provide the player with a slice of the mid game while skipping the early game grind.
