Wanderling is a no-combat roguelike platformer about exploration. Die, retry, and mark your path deeper into a dungeon filled with traps and enemies. In the demo, Sandmouse can explore the first 2 (of 4) levels and gain upgrades. Test your navigation to retrieve the key and return it to the lobby!

In this roguelike platformer, you play as the sandmouse to descend into a maze-like dungeon. Test your map-sense and mark your way through each level to find the optimal paths! The full game has 4 levels, in the demo you win by getting to the 2nd level and retrieving the key back to the lobby shop.

Each day, you'll need to loot the dungeon and find your way back to the shop before night falls. There, you can purchase various upgrades to push further on the following days within the same run.

Besides enemies and traps, you'll have to race against time. Plan your route and rush through the dungeon to make it out before time's up!

  • Expansive procedurally-generated levels. Demo content has Mini and Default level sizes.

  • Place torches to mark the way

  • Fast-paced, challenging gameplay

  • Challenge modifiers for adjusting game difficulty and level size. Demo has 1 modifier: lock max HP

  • Mid-run shop with upgrades

  • Multi-day runs—4 tries to beat each dungeon

  • Day/night sequence

  • Short, 10–15 minute runs (roughly 1/3 the length of a full-game run)
