Into the Dawn is a combat helicopter game reminiscent of the golden days of combat helicopter simulators of the 90s! With modern multiplayer co-op gameplay and cross-platform Windows/macOS/Linux/Steam Deck support, you can play with your friends and family or single-player if you want to go it alone.

Fly AH-64 Apaches, UH-60 Blackhawks, AH-1 Cobras/Vipers, and more on dynamically generated missions and campaigns. Jump in the cockpit with a friend as copilot/gunner or wingman (up to 8 in co-operative multiplayer mode). Plan your routes, direct AI wingmen, and achieve objectives by taking out tanks, fuel depots, ammo dumps, missile sites, and many other types of targets. But keep an eye out -- these enemies are tough, and will make your life difficult! Fly low and stealthy and use the terrain (modeled using real-world terrain data) to surprise the enemy and deliver a knockout blow.

Start as a green Warrant Officer Candidate, fly training missions, and then be promoted to WO1, CW2-5, eventually to commissioned officer and all the way up to Colonel! Earn realistic US Army medals and awards and bring that impressive array of accomplishments to your multiplayer sessions.

This game is meant to be played even by non-gamers. As a solo developer, I've spent a tremendous amount of time optimizing the game to work well on as many computers as possible -- even mid-level laptops. You will be able to fly with just a keyboard and mouse or with the latest HOTAS systems. It's my goal to make it accessible to a wide range of players -- from casual combat helicopter fans to more advanced pilots. The helicopter is easy to fly -- testers report that it takes about 5-10 minutes to learn, and then it's on you to become an expert.
