About This Software

Glimpse IDE is a next-generation 3D coding environment built in Unreal Engine. Combined with GlimpseMirror (our VS Code extension), it transforms the way developers understand and traverse code. Instead of relying on flat text editors that were designed for writing rather than reading, Glimpse introduces a visual IDE that turns your workspace into an explorable world.

Focus on writing in your text editor, then jump into Glimpse IDE to see your code. Every file, function, and class becomes part of an immersive environment that mirrors your VS Code setup—complete with your color themes, syntax highlighting, and layout.

While code visualizers and AI tools like Cursor and GitHub Copilot have advanced, they still leave a critical gap: human understanding of large codebases. Glimpse IDE bridges that gap by making traversal and comprehension intuitive, fast, and even enjoyable. Whether you’re onboarding a new developer, studying architecture, or exploring a research project, Glimpse turns code exploration into something visual, fluid, and memorable.

Buy once. Own forever. No subscriptions. No battle pass. No gacha. No nonsense.
Just free updates and a single purchase that’s yours to keep—just like the glory days.
