In the modern-day world of Third Wind, magic is commonplace. In fact, mage-to-mage combat has been turned into a sport: Magefencing. 

Oh, don't worry! It's nothing violent. Magic can not harm a mage, you see; it simply saps away their energy. The weapons used by Magefencers may look convincing to the naked eye, but they, too, are made of pure magic.

Now, then! You are to be the lucky coach of a brand-new Magefencing team. Your goal? Why, it's to win the Magefencing Championships, of course!

As the coach of a Magefencing team, you'll have to choose a captain to lead your battlers:

• Will you choose Lisette, the Rapier-wielding Hydrokinetic? She seems polite and well-mannered, yet somewhat naïve...

• Will you choose Kaya, the Sword and Shield-using Dragon Morph? He's a seasoned Magefencer, but appears to be a very guarded person...

• Will you choose Krish, the Chakram-throwing Weaver? He strikes you as cocky, but good at heart...

Magefencing is quite the popular sport, but only one team per season is granted the opportunity to challenge the reigning Champions for their title. One loss, and you're out of contention!

Third Wind is a game built around challenging turn-based battles where you will:

• Combo your way to victory! Your Magefencers can use both magic and weapon-based moves in battle—these can be combined into powerful combo moves.

• Sense the enemies' intentions! As a skilled coach, you are able to see what your opponents plan to do each turn. Use this information wisely to guide your team to victory!

• Draft your team! Scout for new team members and recruit the battlers you prefer. Improve your team's Reputation to scout battlers of even higher ranks!

• Outfit your characters with a wide variety of magic charms, granting various different bonuses and abilities to your team.

• Reach the Third Wind! The very strongest of Magefencers are able to evolve and reach beyond their limits—a phenomenon known as the Third Wind. Some say your coaching determines what sort of fencer they become...

As you battle your way to the top, you will get to know your team better. What's more, your fencers can also bond with each other! Third Wind will feature 16 fully unique characters for players to become acquainted with.

Once a bond between two battlers has grown strong enough, you will be able to view a bond conversation. The stronger the bond, the better they'll be able to support their friend in battle. Teamwork makes a difference!

Oh no! You've lost the Championships! But what's this? You seem to have been returned to the very beginning of the season... Are you, perhaps, stuck in some sort of time loop?

The story in Third Wind continues to progress with each run. Your headway in the Championships may be lost, but it appears teammates and enemies alike will remember the bonds and rivalries they've forged with each other (and you) even when time resets!

Will you be able to discover the cause behind this mysterious time loop? It's up to you to find out!
