Varför Early Access?

“Weasel Wes's Cycling Simulator is in early access because as a solo developer I only have a couple physical bike trainers and sensors that I can use to test the game. I would like to use the early access phase to identify community members with other hardware to help assist in the integration of that hardware into the game.”

“During early access, the plan is to work on:
- Tested and working integrations with more bike trainers and sensors

“The early access version of the game is a functional single player, offline, indoor cycling simulator which allows the user to:
- Connect to indoor bike trainers & other sensors
- Free ride (resistance changes with slope)
- Workout (ERG mode & Non-ERG mode)
- Make custom workouts
- Upload to activities Strava (Strava account & online connectivity required)
- Choose different RNG seeds
- Unlock unlockables”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“I plan to gradually raise the price as I ship new content and features.

I plan to add any additional hardware support to the demo, although not all content and features will be available in the demo.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“I am planning on asking the community for willing participants to try out the demo to see if their hardware works with Weasel Wes's Cycling Simulator and report their findings. If willing, participants may send logs to try to help with the integration of specific indoor bike trainer hardware or other sensors.

The community is also free to make feature and content suggestions.”
