Miksi Early Access?

Weasel Wes's Cycling Simulator is in early access because as a solo developer I only have a couple physical bike trainers and sensors that I can work with. I would like to use the early access phase of the development to identify community members with other hardware to help test the integration of that hardware into the game.

As of writing, Weasel Wes's Cycling Simulator has been tested with
- Elite SUITO trainer
- Wahoo Kickr Core (partially tested)

About 12 months or less.

The full version will have integration with many popular indoor bike trainers that I or the community has access to.

The full version will also have:
- Tested, working, integration with more bike trainers and sensors
- More artwork
- Higher quality music
- Character customization
- More unlockables

The early access version of the game is a functional single player, offline, indoor cycling simulator which allows the user to:
- Connect to indoor bike trainers & other sensors
- Free ride (resistance changes with slope)
- Workout (ERG mode)
- Make custom workouts
- Upload to activities Strava (Strava account & online connectivity required)
- Choose different RNG seeds
- Unlock unlockables

Muuttuuko pelin hinta Early Access -vaiheen jälkeen?

I plan to gradually raise the price as I ship new content and features.

The demo will remain free in perpetuity and I plan to add any additional hardware support to the demo, although not all content and features will be available in the demo.

I am planning on asking the community for willing participants to try out the demo to see if their hardware works with Weasel Wes's Cycling Simulator and report their findings. If willing, participants may send logs to try to help with the integration of specific indoor bike trainer hardware or other sensors.

The community is also free to make feature and content suggestions.
