About This Game

Play as the owner of a matchmaking agency in Paris, 1888, and decide: romantic unions or marriages of convenience? Each decision shapes your clients’ fates… and the survival of your agency.

• You play Marie, an independent young woman with a complicated past who has just gone into debt to take over a matchmaking agency in the heart of Paris.

• Explore a period Paris in magnificent Art Nouveau–style settings. Discover Les Halles, the Champs-Élysées, and other emblematic locations such as the Eiffel Tower… still under construction!

• Meet characters inspired by real inhabitants of the era. Take the time to speak with them: your success—or your failure—depends on your ability to untangle truth from falsehood.

Investigate

• With no money and no contacts, you start from nothing. You will have to find potential people to propose to your clients yourself!

• A true investigative task awaits: question your clients, find and observe prospective suitors, uncover their tastes, desires, and sometimes unspeakable secrets.

• Every piece of information helps you decide which union to propose. But beware: a poorly arranged marriage can ruin lives… and tarnish your agency’s name.

Who will you choose?

• For each client, you have several options, including proposing a marriage of convenience or a romantic union.

• But the balance is fragile: defending love marriages risks bankruptcy; yielding to marriages of convenience sacrifices your clients’ happiness. Your reputation, your connections, and the future of your agency depend on your choices.

• Accept your role as an architect of destinies. The choices you make will determine whether Marie becomes the keeper of passions, guided by the heart… or a pragmatic negotiator, mistress of profits. Each marriage is as much a moral wager as a step toward your agency’s survival.
