Hellrifters is a physics-driven squad roguelite where you start alone against the horde and grow into a four-soldier death machine.

Push through escalating Rifts in the Campaign, or fight wave-based battles in the Arena. Both modes share full progression — every unlock and upgrade carries across.

Fight through grotesque demon-infested battlefields filled with lethal hazards, destructible environments, and brutal mission objectives. Every run makes your squad stronger. Every battle pushes you deeper into Hell.

TWO GAME MODES, ONE SQUAD

Take on the Rift Campaign — descend through brutal Rifts divided into escalating sub-levels — or jump into the Battle Arena to fight through 20-wave stages, with each victory unlocking a tougher difficulty of that arena. Every unlock, hero, and module carries across both modes, so every run feeds the same squad's growth.

TURN DESTRUCTION INTO A WEAPON

Blast enemies apart and send debris, gore, and shattered bodies flying through demon ranks. In Hellrifters, destruction is not just visual — it is part of combat.

BUILD YOUR FOUR-HERO SQUAD

Start with a single fighter and unlock new heroes as you progress. Expand into a full four-character squad, each with unique stats, weapons, and a signature upgrade path.

CONTROL A LIVING CHAIN OF DEATH

Lead your team in a precision-based "bead chain" formation where positioning, timing, and coordination matter just as much as raw firepower.

PLAY YOUR WAY: AUTO-SHOOT OR MANUAL AIM

Take precise manual control of every shot, or switch to Auto-Shoot and let your squad fire automatically while you focus on positioning, dodging, and tactics. Override with manual aim at any moment. Choose the playstyle that fits your run.

FIGHT THROUGH DESTRUCTIBLE BATTLEFIELDS

Shatter cover, wreck the environment, and leave behind scorch marks, blood, and gore that remain for the entire run.

CREATE DEVASTATING BUILDS

Every level-up offers meaningful choices. Take free core upgrades to stay flexible, or invest points into powerful premium options to push your squad toward a specialized build.

FORGE LONG-TERM SYNERGY

Collect Upgrade Modules to permanently boost stats, unlock Special Abilities, and add passives. Combine meta progression with class-specific mid-run upgrades for powerful synergies across classes, weapons, and damage types.

MASTER UNIQUE CHARACTER CLASSES

Each class has its own weapon type, stat profile, and exclusive level-up category, changing the rhythm and tactics of every run.

SIGNATURE ABILITIES, UNIQUE TO EVERY HERO

Every squad member has a Signature Ability only they can use, upgradeable through the Perk menu. Lean into each hero's specialty — or swap in a Universal Module for a more flexible build when the run calls for it.

USE SPECIAL ABILITIES TO CONTROL CHAOS

Slow time with Bullet Time, reposition with Teleport, distract enemies with Decoy, or unleash destructive force with Deathball. Choose the right tool for the moment and shape the fight your way.

MAKE CLUTCH DECISIONS IN SLOW MOTION

Browsing abilities slows time, giving you breathing room to think, react, and turn overwhelming situations into tactical victories.

BRING YOUR SQUAD BACK INTO THE FIGHT

Destroy Hellshrines and Hellpumps to speed up the revival of fallen heroes and recover from the brink of collapse.

KEEP THE MOMENTUM GOING

Maintain kill streaks to build combo chains and trigger bursts of bonus Slay Points, rewarding aggressive and skillful play.

Take on 3-tier achievement challenges tied to weapons, abilities, and combos to gain extra XP and prove mastery.

FORGE YOUR PROGRESSION

Level up heroes to unlock perks, improve equipment, boost base stats, and permanently expand module slots. Collect and dismantle modules to forge new ones by selecting a tier, rarity floor, and category, then choosing from randomized results.

CHALLENGE THE ARCH-DEVIL FOR DOMINANCE STARS

Steamroll the battlefield hard enough and the Arch-Devil takes notice — offering Dominance Stars in exchange for tougher enemies. Earn permanent marks of mastery for the players who break the game with their builds, and have something to prove it.
