On a quiet night, the protagonist heads out to visit his friend, Sugimoto.
As usual, he takes out his phone and sends a message.

“I’m coming over.”

It should have been a normal visit —
nothing more than that.

The Message: I’m Coming Over is a first-person horror adventure told through smartphone chats.

You play as the protagonist, walking through the city at night while staying in contact with Sugimoto, following his messages as you make your way toward his apartment.

Unfamiliar shortcuts.
Events you shouldn’t know about.
And encounters with things that should not exist.

Guided by Sugimoto’s knowledge of the occult,
you must avoid — or sometimes confront — these strange phenomena as you continue through the night.

Will you stop?
Will you run?
Or will you trust his words and keep going?

Memories of death and loss slowly resurface.
And Sugimoto’s room draws closer with every step.

When you finally arrive,
will it truly be your friend waiting for you —
or something else entirely?
