About This Content

Piano music for Daymare Town game, created by contemporary composer Alex Voytenko. His style of music perfectly emphasizes the atmosphere of unspoken madness permeating the titular town of the game.

Excerpts from the sheet music preface written by composer, included alongside music files:

At the beginning of 2024, I worked on the music for Mateusz Skutnik's video game "Daymare Town" (2025). This game is a remake of the 4-part series "Daymare Town" (2007, 2008, 2010, 2013): “DMT 1” and “DMT 2” parts had no music at all, and I wrote the soundtrack for “DMT 3” and “DMT 4”. So far, I have not created anything new. I have only rearranged in a new quality all that was written before: I partially clarified something, expanded and strengthened. In brief, I did with the music the same what Mateusz did with the picture: it's a remake of my old soundtrack.

I present to you a sheet music album in which I have collected piano transcriptions of all the numbers from my soundtrack (almost all of them, to be precise). The compilation is intended for fans of "Daymare Town" who have basic piano skills <...>.

<...> It’s a cycle with a loosely fixed order of pieces. However, this does not mean that these pieces do not care in which sequence they are played: in fact, there is a tangible “tension” between them.

For the most part, all the pieces are quite simple from a technical point of view, but some of them, in particular №№ 2, 4, 5, 9, 13, are significantly more difficult. Likewise, there are very laconic pieces that can be better called “sketches” (like №12 or №14), but there are also full-fledged numbers like some of Bartok's Bagatelles. I tried to make this text as detailed as possible so that it is self-evident <...>.
