About This Game

The idle-clicker horror adventure with a deranged narrative buried under all the dead rats and maggots.

As part of your instituted governing body's enacted sponsorship plea bargain, a new, mandatory-enrollment program has come into effect (the opt-out period expired during your prenatal menopause, as per regulation 33-A) which states in no uncertain terms: Henceforth while operating an electronic operating system, the user must do their part to offset the energy crisis and help the community process its excess (which, since you live in the Eastern municipality, includes "nutrition-prep"). 

The bucket's been assigned to you. Collect what you can to feed the younger ones. There should be enough to go around... You wouldn't want to be left alone now, would you?

• Collect blood and harvest rats, beetles and other organic matter using only your computer-mouse.

• Upgrade your tools with your harvested stock.

• Better equipment means more blood and you need more blood. You always need more blood.

• Continue about your life as you normally would while this is happening. [The game is meant to be played alongside your normal routine-use of your computer. Reply to emails, take video calls, do whatever you normally do while you play to get the full experience.]

• Meanwhile: Lore fills in a window word-by-word as the blood drips drop-by-drop. Feel free to read-up on what's happening in this apocalyptic world at your leisure. (The lore window is unlocked during the course of the game and its chapters were all written by me.)

In the face of the dichotomy between the current political/ideological chaos and the sheer gall of the ineptitude of our corrupt leaders, both nationally and globally, and the tightening stranglehold of tyrannical power-grabs & far-reaching censorship while political assassinations and coverups are being carried out with obvious patsies and tampered-if-not-withheld evidence, and the blatant lies pushed through the bowels of the media by tech companies working for private government organizations who in turn have been shown to be blackmailed by foreign interests who are exploiting us and using our government to further the violent ends of their own religious delusions...

Let's just say the State of affairs is on a spiral of decline far steeper than it was when Dadaism first formed. In response, the culture has shifted. Everything is more emotionally cataclysmic, spiritually catatonic, and psychologically castrated. it's only natural for a human response to reflect this darkness through grim absurdity. Keep the blood flowing and continue about your life as you normally would while this is happening.
