Winning Post 8 2016 is the latest in the detailed horse racing simulation Winning Post series, a series that has prospered for over 20 years. The game is based on Japanese horse-racing and players become an owner/breeder in a miniature horse racing world. This release builds upon the previous Winning Post 8 2015, adding various new elements to create an even more dramatic, even more fulfilling horse racing owner’s life.

In this release, we have added new elements to give the game more depth and more drama to make life as a horse owner even more fulfilling. Not only will series fans find the play enjoyable, but new players, both to the series and to horse racing games in general, can enjoy it as well.

■"Breed your own horse" evolves
Horses are the main component of any horse racing game and we have added parameters and traits to make your horses even more unique. Give your race horses more individuality with parameters and traits. For example, improve distance with the parameter "Cardio Ability," or recreate Silence Suzuka's running style with the Trait "Hi-Rap Runout."
And for the first time in the series, we have also included a "training" element. By setting your training policy, you can strengthen horse parameters like "Distance Parameter","Running Style" to further differentiate your horses.

■Management done better! The "Club system"
At the request of many fans, we are bringing back the Club system, in which multiple people contribute to the upkeep of a race horse. Players can experience Club life, with not only shared horses, but with new elements like "Member count" and "Sales."
In addition, we have increased the drama of club interactions. Not only can player's descendants be voted club rep, but Winning Post friends can be invited to join and share the worries and thrills of your horse's achievements.

■Added play elements, like New Goals and Added Rewards
Your assistant will prepare a number of goals for you and completing these goals earn you rewards. Rewards will include a wide variety of items like Hoods, Assistant Outfits, strange motions for your horse, and even a "Coat Directory," which when used during breeding can get you a foal with a rare coat color.

■We follow the 2016 JRA season schedule. You'll see Maurice, 2015 Horse of the Year, and Leontes, Champion 2-year old!
We've updated horse, jockey, trainer, stud, and brood mare data. We have also included all the new horse racing info, like the newly established Graded race, the Shion Stakes.

■Improved user-friendliness and controllability!
With the "Next Race Policy" players can now give their trainers more instructions, like track and distance. They can also set whether to go to regional tracks or overseas. Also, we have included a Shortcut function, which not only allows players to easily call up the info screens of previously registered horses and characters, but also lets them register for their next race.

■Bonus for Windows
For Windows users, we have multiple bonus items, starting with a new assistant "Amagi Aya," and including a Coat Directory, hoods and more!
