Posse of 3 is an RPG Maker game that takes place in a wild west setting with heavy fantasy elements! You play as Sammy Sweetgum, a young settler woman who travels the frontier of Falconia, in search of a high bounty. She will be accompanied by Ahiga, a native young man who controls a mysterious power, and Fennic, a fawn who longs to rejoin her lost family. Will they be able to survive the wild lands of Falconia and find this wanted man? 

The gameplay plays like a turn based RPG, so there will be turned based combat. This means planning your actions before the enemy performs theirs. Attacking, using abilities, and consuming items will be the key to winning each fight. 

Included is the full campaign for Posse of 3, a Soundtrack mode, and a Boss Rush challenge mode!

Sammy Sweetgum is a 18 year old woman who is from a settlement established by the new country of Falconia. She starts the adventure by choosing to hunt a bounty that will give her enough money to afford her parent's expensive medical treatment. She is a brave young woman who deeply cares about who she allies with, and also is a great shot with her family's revolver.

Ahiga Southpaw is a 17 year old young man who lives with his tribe in the Southpaw Forest. He travels to and from the nearest town with an elder from his tribe, but when his elder is in harms way, he is quick to leap into action with a bow and arrows in hand. He also has dominion over ancient magic but his father, the tribe's chieftain, doesn't want him to fall to deep into the ancient evils. 

Fennic is a young fawn woman who got taken away from her family and trapped in a forgotten temple. Before, she roamed the lands with her family of deer nomads who worship a god of nature. After being freed via Sammy and Ahiga, she joins them on their way to where her family was headed, the snowy tundra of Northpine. 

Posse of 3 has a playable demo that includes the game's content up to the end of the 1st dungeon. The demo will be released in the Steam Next Fest in February 2026.

The world of Falconia is inspired by the American Frontier during the coming of the 1900's. However it is not a direct one to one recreation. There are some key differences from the two settings, and topics that are not showcased because of their unimportance to the storyline.

Posse of 3 uses the RPG Maker VX Ace engine, the same series of engines used in popular games like Omori, OneShot, and LISA the Painful RPG.
