Miksi Early Access?

The main reason for releasing in Early Access would be to get more feedback and engagement over a longer period on while we are still creating content for the game.

Miten kauan peli tulee arviolta olemaan Early Access -vaiheessa?

The current plan would be to release the Early Access version in January and the full game in August 2026.

Millä tavoin lopullinen versio tulee eroamaan Early Access -versiosta?

We plan to added several new campaigns to game before the full version is released. Also we hope to tweak unit stats to balance the game based on player feedback.

Mikä on Early Access -version tila tällä hetkellä?

Currently the Early Access version has one entire playable campaign. With 12 - 14 battles depending on campaign choices. The game works well with very few bugs.

No, the price will be the same.

There is an discord server where anybody can join either from the website or from an link in-game.

Historical Campaign

Fight through the rise of the Roman Republic.

Starting with the Pyrrhic War.  Can you defend the Republic?

War has broken out between Rome and the unruly city of Tarentum, one of the last major cities in Italia not under the Senate’s control. Outmatched, Tarentum has called for aid from the Kingdom of Epirus in Greece. A modern, disciplined army the likes of which Rome has never faced.

Led by their king, Pyrrhus, cousin of Alexander the Great, they are truly a force to be reckoned with. General, it is your task to stop them and bring glory to Rome!

Handcrafted Maps

All maps are handcrafted, based on historical battles and settings, and drawn in a retro pixel-art style. Bonus objectives provide players with greater challenges and unlock new campaign paths, leading to a dynamic and highly repayable experience.

Unique Supply Mechanics

Build forts along roads to resupply your units in battle. Keep the roads clear to ensure your forts stay supplied. This simple yet historically inspired mechanic gives Roman General a unique layer of strategic depth in managing supply lines.
