Varför Early Access?

“I will complete the game by improving existing features and adding new content based on community feedback, in addition to planned content. I am a solo developer. I am releasing my game in early access so I can focus entirely on the game, while also gathering community feedback, fixing issues, and adding new content to complete the game to its full potential.”

“I think it will be about 1 year.”

“A wealth of new content and systems are planned for early access. Currently planned content includes new vehicles, new weapons, weapon attachments, new tradable items, new buildable structures, character upgrades (stats, skills), map improvements and new areas, non-zombified human AI, character customization, safe zone defense against zombie attacks, up to 4-player CO-OP, and much more. More content may be added based on community feedback, and since I'm a solo developer, the release date may be extended.”

Hur är det nuvarande läget i versionen med Early Access?

“The game currently features a build-your-own-market system, a shelf management and cash register system for running your own market, AI customers, a vendor system for purchasing items from safe zones, a melee combat system, a firearms system, an inventory system, an AI zombie system, a usable vehicle system, and an open world. Many new features are planned for early access.”

Kommer spelet att prissättas annorlunda under och efter Early Access?

“Yes, the price will change once the game reaches full release.”

Hur planerar ni att involvera gemenskapen i er utvecklingsprocess?

“By creating a Discord server, I plan to provide quick updates and solutions to bugs reported by the community, as well as discuss new ideas with the community for content to be added throughout the development process.”

Om detta spel

The Last Market is an open-world game set in a post-apocalyptic world, where you run your own market in a safe zone for survivors. You can sell items you collect from zombies or from buildings and campsites in the open world in your market. The income you earn from this market allows you to expand and customize your current market. With future features, you'll need even more money to defend your safe zone from zombie attacks and upgrade your character's abilities.

Current Features:

  • An open world survival game where you try to survive and build and operate your market as you wish.

  • A post-apocalyptic open world to explore.

  • Fight zombies in an open world.

  • Vehicles that you can use both as storage and to roam around the open world.

  • A variety of firearms and melee weapons are available for you to use.

  • Build your own market to meet the needs of those living in the safe area.

  • Earn money by selling the items you collect from the open world to those living in the safe area in your own market.

  • Improve your market with the money you earn and buy what you need from other vendors in the safe area.

  • Day/Night cycles.

Planned Features:

  • CO-OP system where you can play with your friends up to 4 players.

  • Zombie hordes will attack the safe zone at regular intervals and a defense system will be added to prevent these attacks.

  • Character stats system.

  • Armed AI characters and military zones that we can fight with.

  • Small quests you can receive from those living in the safe zone.

  • Weather system. Snow and Rain.

  • Damage system for vehicles.

  • Clothing system that also has a protective effect for the character.

  • New buildables and more customization options for your market.

  • New weapons, new vehicles, and new sellable items.

  • Map improvements and new areas.

  • Weapon and vehicle customizations.

  • And much more. Stay tuned.
