Angel Academy is not a place for second chances. It’s a university for last chances. Run by a mysterious cabal of wealthy individuals, set on an island far from civilization, and advertised as the last bastion of faith for those flunk out of an overwhelmingly agnostic society, Angel Academy withholds many, many secrets among its students AND its administrators.

The love interests of Angel Academy are the highlight of the game, with a script written by a published novelist (who would prefer to remain anonymous). Each girl’s story comes with a set of unique endings depending on how you build your character. And each way you can build your own character comes with an exclusive love interest.

Every quest contributes to how they see you. It’s possible to stay in every girl’s good graces, but there is a ton of planned exclusive content for each path you can choose with each of the girls and exclusive love interests. 

Some girls will love you for who you are. That’s the real fantasy. 

Others will have to be convinced or coerced. And some will simply never have anything to do with you, if they can help it. 

Each girl has her own set of quirks and kinks, as well as a unique faith because if everyone’s a token, nobody is.

Don’t be afraid to be decisive and replay the game through a different route to see what you might’ve missed.

Angel Academy is a point and click visual novel. But on that simple foundation is a dating sim with love interests of all backgrounds and creeds, where the player can build, break, or twist his relationships based on dialogue choices and skill points, featuring deeply written characters, snarky dialogue, and lots and lots of kinky, less-than-pious scenarios.

Every decision you make, between what you say and what skills you polish, will contribute to important divergences in the story. Not every choice is a make-or-break one, but over time they will build up. The wide array of love interests in the game will appreciate and be repulsed by different actions and lifestyles. 

Built upon a stat system, building your character’s strength, intellect, and charisma in different proportions is the key to making your way through this game. Being a generalist will not be rewarded nearly as much as dumping all your points into becoming a Kronk with fewer brain cells.

These stats are more than just abilities. They inform how your character will react to certain situations and what flaws he’s prone to. Strength will make him physically impressive, yes. But it will also make him eager to take things head on, not giving subtlety the chance.

Intellect improves hand-eye coordination as much as knowledge, but incentivizes the player character to live in his head, even when an opportunity might be right in front of him.

Charisma will make conversations a breeze, but those who commit to that path will become the puppets of public opinion and many might pick up on just how insecure you truly are.

Of course, our titular protagonist couldn’t give a rat’s ass about that. He got shipped off here because his mom caught him in the act of enjoying some…*ahem* explicit cinema. Far from home and dumped into a mass congregation of religions, philosophies, and theologies as an apathetic, unprincipled agnostic, you will have to help him find his place on the island. 

You can help build up the academy as a proper institution or keep it in homeschool-style anarchy.

You can preach the gospel or shatter illusions.

Advocate for independence or sell everyone out to the feds.

But whatever you choose to do, someone will suck you off for it.
