A young girl witnesses her parents die to the hands of Synax, an evil company that owns all the tech, housing and food. She's forced to travel across Purconia to take them down for good, after seeing how many issues they cause to the people around her.

Adventure through cities, collecting weapons, armour, and food to withstand your battles with the everyday citizens. Each battle represents a conversation with that person, where you calm them down, have a debate about good and evil, or convincing them to stand up for themselves, all through the power of platforming.

This adventure is about choosing what you do, with no one forcing you to follow the story laid out. Every character is fully developed with their own custom sprites, dialogue, and personality. Engage with each characters side stories, or speedrun the primary story, there's no wrong way to play.

Project: Purconia is an RPG that uses platforming levels as its battling mechanic, where you're rewarded for how fast you can complete levels. You progress not by leveling up, but by collecting items to increase your attack and defense levels. Many items also include secondary abilities, such as letting you run faster, or viewing how difficult someone is before engaging in a battle. If following the plot ever gets too boring, there is a handful of other areas to keep you company such as fishing, playing checkers, and playing in-game arcade games. The difficulty can get fairly high at times, but you can always put a battle off for later until you're up for the challenge again. The estimated time it takes to beat the game is around 10 hours, assuming you go in blind. While that's how long the story takes, there is also 10 to 20 hours of side stories and adventures to be had if you're looking to complete everything.

That's all the controls! Your fingers are never far from the button you need to press, and all controls are able to be remapped as soon as you enter the game. There is automatic controller support for any controller plugged in, with full remapping capabilities.

Dead bodies with blood are present, but there is no death animation, and is only shown at a low resolution. One dead body is of a minor.
There is suicide, but not from any minors, and it's not grotesque.
Murder is present, but is only done by bad characters in the story.
Profanity is rare, though the swear filter setting in the menu is enabled by default regardless.
Alcohol and tobacco are both present, but only with legal adults, and with an in-game message telling minors to avoid smoking.
Romance is involved, though sex itself is never brought up.
