Story

On the morning of her high school entrance ceremony, Sakoto Yasaka, a shrine maiden of Chiwa Shrine, has a strange dream. It serves as a warning that something terrible is about to happen in the town of Reiyū where she lives.

At school, she spends her days with her friends: Yui Nokata, a researcher of "Reikigaku" (Spiritualics); Manaka Taruochi, an unfortunate girl who tends to attract spirits; and Naoko Makita, an information specialist obsessed with gathering data. By a strange turn of events, the topic of the "Occult Research Club" comes up.
This club, which once existed, was involved in some kind of incident during an investigation two years ago, resulting in one member going missing.
Through Naoko's arrangements, Sakoto and her friends form the "Student Council General Affairs Club." While handling miscellaneous tasks for the student council, they begin to investigate what happened to the Occult Research Club.

Just as they begin, minor "incidents" related to "food" start occurring within the school...

Characters

Sakoto Yasaka
A shrine maiden at Chiwa Shrine. She can perceive the deity Yasuhime at any time without the need for special devices and can even communicate with her remotely via a form of "telepathy." She adores Yasuhime. She is a childhood friend of Yui Nokata and, although she doesn't understand much about Reikigaku, she cherishes their bond. She begins having strange "dreams" just before waking up, starting from the day of the entrance ceremony.

Yui Nokata
A high school student and a researcher at the Sōjin Research Institute, where she explores "Reikigaku(Spiritualics)"—the academic study of supernatural entities like gods, ghosts, and spirits. Considered a genius in her field, she is highly respected at the institute. However, she can be clumsy at times. She is intensely curious about things that interest her but completely indifferent to everything else.

Manaka Taruochi
A somewhat unfortunate girl who, despite her fear of ghosts, has a constitution that makes her popular with spirits. She met and became friends with Yui and Sakoto in middle school. It is believed that she and Naoko encountered a spiritual phenomenon two years ago, but she has no memory of the event.

Naoko Makita
A girl with a passion for gathering information. She is resourceful, has excellent communication skills that allow her to talk to anyone, and is proactive in investigating anything that piques her interest. She was instrumental in establishing the General Affairs Club. It is believed she encountered a spiritual phenomenon with Manaka two years ago, but like Manaka, she has no memory of the details.

Yasuhime
The deity(Japanese kami) of Chiwa Shrine, appearing as a young girl who protects the Chiwa Forest. While she often acts her apparent age, in times of need, she displays the wisdom befitting a god who has lived for millennia. Her divine powers are formidable, and she is highly capable, from exorcising evil spirits possessing Manaka to performing emergency healing on serious injuries. She loves sweets.
