Semprecord is a powerful screenrecorder built for creators, educators, professionals and data hoarders.
It can automatically edit videos for you as well as auto record when you start work and pause when you take a break. This allows for very efficient recording and can save you a ton of time, video editing and finding relevant events in your past recordings.

Auto Trigger

Semprecord allows you to set a list of applications to be recorded (or excluded).

When any app in this list is launched semprecord will trigger a new recording session.

You will never forget to hit record again.

Auto Pause

Semprecord pauses the recording when the mouse or keyboard is not in use or nothing is happening on screen.

This means recordings will look like one continuous piece of work without breaks.

You can walk away from your computer for long amounts of time without having to worry about huge video files containing hours of empty footage.

Timeline Exporter

Semprecord keeps track of what you were working on and when. This allows you to easily trace back your steps.

For example, you can ask semprecord for everything that happend in 'example.txt' or 'project abc' all of last month.

relevant parts from many previous records will be stitched together into a new video or even as an EDL TIMELINE,

which can be imported directly into many video editors.

Hardware Encoders

Semprecord supports h264, h265 and av1 hardware encoders found in nearly all modern

Intel, AMD and Nvidia graphics cards, this means the CPU will not be bogged down by the recording process.

Software encoding is still available as a fallback option.
