It's a visual novel/interactive book about a man known by the name of Morar, set in a world full of mystery, in an ancient magical land of Talamhur. The game is framed as a published account of Morar's life and adventures, made by an enigmatic author.

Deep and fleshed-out world of dark fantasy inspired by Celtic myths, works of H.P. Lovecraft and European history.

The gods of Talamhur are dead, copper here is more valued than gold, the tenebrous Foul Ones are roaming around during eclipses too regular to be normal… While rapiers, pikes and gunpowder are still ruling on the battlefields and fierce battlemages keep scourging their enemies with fire and blight, city-states in the far north have already begun harnessing the power of steam.

People of Talamhur are thrilled by the upcoming Arrival of unknown invaders from beyond the sea, prophesied by many to be the end of days. It is only your protege, known by the name of Morar, who can stop the menace. Or either fail, or join it instead.

Welcome to the Dead Gods Realm!

The game is framed as a fictionalized biography of the protagonist. You will know his story from birth to the climactic point of his life when he had faced the Arrival. This account of Morar's life is divided into several chapters, each describing a period of Morar’s life. The first chapter is about his early childhood spent in an isolated pagan commune far from civilization. The second chapter starts with him being taken to a grand city. In this new world Morar must start his journey to adolescence… Each chapter contains numerous quests, which you must resolve by making a choice. Every quest offers at least three options to choose from. Consequences of your decisions will bring you to one of several story routes, each showing Morar's story from a different angle.

Who would Morar become? A shrewd diplomat? A wise priest? A valiant officer? Or rather he'll try to stay away from adventure and tribulation and live a quiet life? Tell his story in your own way!

Each one of your choices in the game may affect two clusters of stats:

• Morar's character traits. There are six of them. Morar can be Disciplined, Fearless, Shrewd, Charming, Lenient, Eccentriс. Each trait can be leveled firstly from 0 up to 10, eventually 20 and finally 30 points through relevant choices. Sufficiently leveled traits can provide additional choice options in quests and even alter the outcome of your actions.

• NPC relations. Morar's relations with each of the key NPCs through the game is scaled between -10 to +10 and has seven grades: Rivalry — Loathing — Coldness — Disregard — Interest — Sympathy — Affection. Keeping sympathetic, neutral or rivaling relations with certain NPCs can help you approach the story in a different manner. Either friendship or strife with an NPC can lead you to their personal quest, which may seriously affect the game's plot as a whole.

Shape Morar’s personality at will, but choose your allies and foes carefully!

On each of several story routes Morar would be able to pursue one of two romance options, specific for a given route and providing unique content. Scaling relations with the lady of your liking high enough to get Affection may lead to a passionate romance or even starting a family.

A world on the verge of a cataclysm. Is there a better place and time to find love?

From the second chapter of the game and on, up to 50% of text in quests will dynamically change according to your choices, relations with various NPCs and your character traits. Different playstyles may open new events, dialogues and even entire quest chains that you weren’t aware of.
