Cosmo's Industry is a point-and-click, inventory-management adventure where you run an old, run-down shop that was abandoned by its previous owner. With the facilities damaged or lost entirely, it's your job and pleasure to recover as much as you can while satisfying the needs of your customers.

About This Demo

This demo is still an early build, so if you see anything you want changed, leave a review and I’ll make sure to make the game the best it can be with your advice.

The demo cuts off your ability to unlock new rooms and the highest levels of items. It’s an unlimited-time experience, but you can’t increase your production — so enjoy it for as long as you want.

Cosmo’s Industry is all about capitalism. You either adapt, or you join the others under the overpass, huddled next to a trash-can fire.

You, as a new business owner (or maybe an old one), have the task of not only surviving the vast emptiness of space but also satisfying your customers — no matter how weird or disgusting their requests may be. So be ready to work your ass off until you achieve wealth… or die trying.

Despite space being a lonely place, you won’t be alone. Your only company won’t just be the customers who stop by, but also your business partner/employee/the responsible one/maintenance guy. He may seem friendly, but don’t piss him off — he’s the only reason your shop is still standing (even if the state it’s in isn’t all that impressive).

Cosmo’s Industry is a point-and-click, venture capitalist, “survival” game — but most importantly, a resource management challenge. You are free to choose the way you play, whether that means going slow and relaxed while enjoying the journey of making money, friends, and product — or racing ahead, becoming a multimillionaire within a few days, and throwing money at every problem. However you play, there are no wrong answers. But remember: this isn’t a game about fun — it’s a game about capitalism. So go make your millions.

Now some real talk: “This is my first real game, please be gentle,” said the developer. But ignore that fact — no matter what you don’t like, even the smallest of annoyances, please leave a comment, review, or send a carrier pigeon. Let me know where to improve so you always get your money’s worth. Do the same if you have questions before buying, advice on features you’d like to see added or changed, or if you just want to talk.

As the last paragraph begins, the description ends. The only words I have for anyone who actually read all of this: I hope you enjoy playing the game as much as I enjoyed making it. (And yes, in the previous paragraph I did refer to myself in the third person and encouraged bullying me.)
